This color is a subtle light mauve. It is a purply-blush and is found in and inspired by many Keweenaw sunrises.
Design Inspiration
We all love simplicity. It matches our lifestyle. The arch design is found in old architecture, it is inspired by the windows and doors found in historic downtown Calumet. We wanted a design that embodied the simplicity of the area, so we played with an arch and a tree, and this beautifully simple design was born.

I’m not even a “hoodie person” but since I’ve purchased this one, I wear it every time I need an extra layer. Its true to color and true to size. I am 5’2” and usually chose a medium sweatshirt for a relaxed, cozy fit which is what I ordered here. The best part of the fit is that it’s relaxed but doesn’t hang down to your knees because of it. The length is amazing, falling near the hips. The inside of this sweatshirt is the softest I’ve ever felt on my skin. I oooh and ahh every time I slip it on. I’ve washed it many times since I tend to grab it especially for sweaty evening bike rides and smoky campfires and the quality is the same as the day I got it. I’ve been complimented every time I’ve worn it out and about and my favorite part is that it reminds me of home. If I throw it on and head outdoors and then close my eyes and imagine sitting on the shore of Lake Superior, with a breeze blowing through my hair, the purest scent of unpolluted air, and the sun setting the sky on fire, I go right back. I love having something to wear that brings me back to my roots.

I bought the paradise pink women’s hoodie as soon as 41 North Co. launched last spring. Right away, I loved it. The color is beautiful, the fit is a slight crop, but not too short and it’s a nice thick/warm sweatshirt, but not bulky. Here we are 6 months later and it’s still my go to hoodie. It has washed up really nice and I just absolutely love it!
