Color Inspiration
Our mining history inspired the warm gray color of this shirt. It was selected as an homage to our forefathers who worked so hard and through endless amounts of pour rock to obtain the copper. You will find many massive rock piles as you explore the Keweenaw, and this color is reminiscent of that.
Design Inspiration
Our logo was inspired by all that is around us. First, the logo’s shape represents the north location marker on a map. Secondly, we recognize we are a destination and wanted to play on that. Inside the icon, you see the Keweenaw Peninsula, Lake Superior, and trees. These are working together as a whole to represent our favorite playground! The sign is included because of the picture that ignited the ember of an idea for a Keweenaw lifestyle brand. Read more about that here.

He wears this t-shirt multiple times a week so clearly it’s a favorite haha! It is true to color and true to size.. he ordered a large and usually wears large.. it is more of a slimmer fit than some t-shirt but not too tight by any means. If you like the way the t-shirt fits the model, order your usual t-shirt size, but if you like more of a lose/relaxed fitting shirt, size. up As for the design, it looks classy and high end. The material is buttery soft.
